PAUL R. MALCHESKY, Managing Partner of Cannon, Aveni, & Malchesky, C.o. L.P.A., joined the former firm of Cannon, Stern, Aveni & Loiacono, C.o., L.P.A. in 1997. Paul's experienced in negotiating, arbitrating, and litigating matters that concern such diverse issues as personal injury, contracts, criminal/traffic law, land use and zoning issues, manufactured home parks, construction (residential and commercial), divorce/juvenile law, corporate formation, corporate law, and local government.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1972, Paul is a graduate of Lake Catholic High School (1990), Cleveland State University (B.A., magna cum laude, 1994) and Cleveland-Marshall College of Law (J.D., 1997, Dean’s Scholarship recipient). Paul was admitted to Ohio Bar, 1997; Ohio and U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio, 1999. He has served as a Legal Advisor for the Riverside High School Mock Trial Team and Riverside Local School District Superintendent's Business Advisory Council, Lake Catholic Business Advisory Committee, Lake County Grand Jury Foreman (2006) and Lake County Bar Grievance Committee in which he chaired 2011-2013. He was appointed to the Morley Library Board of Trustees in 2013 for a six year term.
He is currently the President of the Lake County Bar Association (2018-2019), an organization of 447 members of Lake County Attorneys to advance the system of jurisprudence and to improve the administration of justice.
Paul is currently serving in his fourth term as a Concord Township Trustee (2006-Present).
Paul also sits as Acting Judge for Painesville Municipal Court appointed by Judge Michael A. Cicconetti since 2004 and serves as legal counsel for several government and non-profit entities including Laketran, Lake–Geauga Recovery Centers, Inc. and Harpersfield Township.
An active member of the community, Paul serves as CYO coach for various sports. He is an active member of St. Gabriel’s Church. He lives in Concord, Ohio with his wife and two children.
